Five years ago we locked ourselves into a fun filled Christmas week by getting married two days after Christmas Day. Fun for two years, but the day after Christmas just before our third anniversary(2008), we had a little "addition" to our crazy week - by welcoming our little Lilyanne to our little family. She wasn't due until mid January, so my water breaking on Boxing Day was a bit of a surprise to us all! I now like to call it our Chrisma-birtha-versary time, with the three being three days in a row! This year, we even had our "First Annual Chrismabirthaversary Open House".
We invited a bunch of little kids we knew to come over on the 2nd, unfortunately most of them couldn't make it. We did get to spend a few hours with two little guys we don't get to see enough of, now that we live up here in WI. Afterward my family and a few other friends came over and we watched the Bears/Pack game and had pizza/cake, etc. Hopefully next year more of our friend can make it (illness and funerals took a few people out of the game) and we can have more little friends for Lil and Mads.
